Protestants: Another Eucharist question for you...?

Ignatius (whom was a disciple of the gospel writer John), 3rd Bishop of Antioch (35-110) martyr, in the arena in Rome, about the time John died, in his Epistle to Smyrnaeans, 7:1 speaking of Docetist heretics, who denied the humanity of Jesus, he wrote, “They do not confess that the Eucharist is the flesh of our Savior Jesus Christ, flesh which suffered for our sins, and which that Father, in His goodness, raised up again.” Was he just stupid or something
