Is this the origin of Canada?

I heard that it had to do with the native americans who had heard some spanish from the spaniards when they were in the south. and when explorers whent to Canada they asked the natives whats up here and they said "nada aca" which means nothing here. and then somehow Canada came out of that. Is this true?
