Pakistan's future?

Here is a country that never had a strong democratic tradition -- a stream of dictators and corrupt leaders have basically made it dysfunctional. And yet they have been our "allies" for the past 50 years. Just goes to show you how screwed up our foreign policy is. The future will be more of the same or worse. More turmoil in Pakistan, more ineffective terrorist hunting, more dysfunctional foreign policy. Problem is, this country has nukes. If the terrorists take control of one of these nukes, things will go from bad to worse in a hurry.
