Isn't the possibility of appointing several Supreme Court justices a huge issue for this campaign?

The virtual certainty of at least 2 appointments to the Supreme Court by the next President should weigh heavily in who we vote for. What we saw in California will be repeated in the US Supreme Court if Obama is elected. You can trust that he will appoint radical activist judges that will legislate from the bench, thus doing an end run around the will of "We the People", just like what the California Supreme Court did today. Irregardless of what the rightness or wrongness of the issue is, the will of the majority of the people of California was ignored, and the Justices imposed their view over the will of the people. Get ready, because this will happen repeatedly if a Democrat is elected in 08, only this time it will be at a national level. When you've got judges that will do the bidding of a political agenda, why have a Congress? ...and yes, it's stinks just as badly when a conservative court does the same thing.
