What will be the ratio of the new transmitted intensity I'' to I' at the same wavelength? Use beer-lambertlaw
This is a physical chemistry question that i need answered. Use Beer Lambert law to answer. The pure rotational spectrum of HF is taken in a certain microwave spectrometer. The transmitted radiation intensity I' at a particular wavelength is found to be 90% that of the incident intensity. If the path length of the radiation beam is increased by 40% and the concentration of HF in the sample is doubled , while the incident radiation intensity remains unchanged, what will be the ratio of the new transmitted intensity I'' to I' at the same wavelength?
