I am a Republican/my wife is a democrat. I am white/she is Mexican we had a son today?

Today my wife had a baby, she is 30 and I am 58, she is an anchor baby of Mexican parents that swam the Rio Grande 33 years ago and have amnesty from Reagan's program, I am a white boy of German and Welch ancestors who emigrated in the 19th century to the USA, my great grandfather a civil war vet, my grandfather a World War I vet, my father a vet from World War II in Patton's tank corp, and me a vet of Vietnam. The boy is a pure mix, black hair, light skin, gray eyes so far. He is a mix in America of two different worlds that are very much in the lime light today. What is your opinion of my son? What is your opinion of my wife, and what is your opinion of my in laws. By the way since they came to the USA they are very hard working people who have raised a family. The other question is should we have married, before she got pregnant we got married, we are both in the car business, met, fell in love, and got married. The age difference has not mattered to us, but sometimes you catch the looks, and know that people do not approve. Give me your thoughts. By the way what a great looking kid he is.
